Rex Grossman

The Falcons have released veteran QB Rex Grossman. Grossman spent only a week in Atlanta competing for the back up job to Matt Ryan. I wouldn't expect another team to give him a look.

Sean Renfree has won the Falcons back up job, so if you're in a very deep 2 QB league and need a "handcuff" for Ryan, Renfree is guy.

Rex Grossman was the third QB to enter the game behind Matt Ryan and Sean Renfree, and he finished the night 4/9 for 41 yards. Grossman was given about a quarter and a half to show the Falcons what he could do, but he was under a lot of pressure from the Ravens pass rush. Unless the Falcons keep three QB's, Grossman doesn't have much of a shot to make the team.

Sean Renfree seems to have won the back up job to Matt Ryan, so Grossman isn't worth any fantasy consideration.
