Prince Shembo

The Falcons waived Shembo after he was charged Friday with killing his former girlfriend's dog.

Fantasy Impact

Shembo was a fourth-round pick and featured on Hard Knocks last year. He is unlikely to make any impact in fantasy this year unless these charges are cleared.

Defensive coordinator Mike Nolan said he "would like to do more of it" when asked regarding using the rookie LB in the Falcons pass-rush. "He’s stout enough to play that. That is something we will continue to probably use as we go forward.”

Fantasy Impact

Keep an eye on Shembo as the weeks progress. Although not currently worth picking up in IDP leagues, he has shown flashes of brilliance. With more opportunities he could make for an intriguing bye week or injury replacement down the road.
