Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Phillip Supernaw was released by the Titans on Tuesday according to the Titans Twitter page.
Fantasy Impact
Supernaw had been on the Physically Unable to Perform list for the first week of training camp after missing offseason workouts as well. The veteran TE is known more for his blocking and special teams play rather than his receiving skills and will not be fantasy relevant wherever he lands.
Phillip Supernaw caught 2-of-2 balls for 16 yards in Week 11's loss to the Jaguars. He also fumbled the ball late in the fourth quarter, which changed the dynamic of the game.
Fantasy Impact
Supernaw's fumble basically put the nail in the coffin for the Titans on Thursday night. He is a blocking tight end that is way down the depth chart and shouldn't be owned in any format.
Supernaw is part of the diluted Ravens TE squad. He joined the Ravens last year during the offseason, after a short stint with the Houston Texans. Supernaw first signed with the Texans after starting for four years at Ouachita Baptist University.
Fantasy Impact
The Ravens need solid TE play if they plan to keep Kubiak's offensive playbook. Supernaw has not had much of a chance to prove himself, but the Ravens apparently seem comfortable with him and Gilmore. If the Ravens don't add more TE talent in the draft Supernaw has fantasy sleeper potential.
