Paul Worrilow
LB -
Week 12 Outlook
Availability
The New York Jets are signing LB Paul Worrilow to their practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
Worrilow played in four games with the Jets last season, but most of his snaps were on special teams. The Jets are very thin at LB and Worrilow is just added depth.
The Eagles signed linebacker Paul Worrilow to a one-year contract extension Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Worrilow missed all of 2018 after tearing his ACL on the first day of OTAs. He had been set to become an unrestricted free agent in March.
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Paul Worrilow will miss the 2018 season after tearing his ACL.
Fantasy Impact
The knee injury to Worrilow, 28, leaves the door open to a handful of replacement options at linebacker. The Eagles could also look to bring in veteran competition for training camp.
Paul Worrilow (knee) has been ruled out for Week 15 against the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
Nate Stupar is expected to replace the Falcons leading tackler in the starting lineup this week. With Worrilow out, Denard Robinson will have an even bigger opportunity to have a big day than he had before the announcement. The Falcons have given up a league-leading 18 total touchdowns to running backs (including seven in the last four games), as well as the 2nd most fantasy points per game to the position. Robinson is an amazing DFS option this week.
Worrilow was the clear leader of the Falcons' defense collecting nine tackles including two TFLs against the Dolphins on Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact
Worrilow seemed to fly around on the field closing gaps and registering the most tackles for the Falcons' defense. In the first quarter, he showed he can cover as well chasing down Lamar Miller on a screen play. He looks like a much improved player in new coach Dan Quinn's defense. He is a top 15 LB option and best pure tackling option the Falcons have.
