Orlando Scandrick
CB - FA
2025 Outlook
Availability
Orlando Scandrick racked up four total tackles (three solo), two sacks, a touchdown, and two forced fumbles during Sunday’s 31-6 win over the Jets.
Fantasy Impact
Scandrick should be watched as the season rolls on but kept on waivers for now. He could be looking at a lot of playing time for an Eagles’ secondary that is been very thin of healthy players.
The Eagles have signed free agent cornerback Orlando Scandrick to a one-year deal, the team announced on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
The Eagles have several cornerbacks on their roster but are dealing with a number of injuries, so Scandrick should be able to compete for a roster spot and playing time. Philadelphia just lost CreVon LeBlanc to a foot sprain, while starters Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills are both recovering from injuries they suffered last season. Scandrick joins Rasul Douglas, Sidney Jones, and Avonte Maddox as the healthy cornerbacks in Philadelphia.
ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates is reporting that free agent cornerback Orlando Scandrick is set to join the Kansas City Chiefs. Scandrick visited Kansas City last week, following his release from Washington during training camp.
Fantasy Impact
While Scandrick struggled in coverage last season, he's still a solid veteran defensive back and should slot into the rotation with the rebuilt Chiefs' secondary.
Less than five months after signing a two-year deal with Washington which included a $1 million signing bonus, the Redskins have released veteran cornerback Orlando Scandrick. The 10-year veteran had spent all of his career with Dallas before his brief stint in Washington.
Fantasy Impact
Scandrick will likely draw attention from plenty of other suitors but hasn't been good in coverage. Pro Football Focus graded Scandrick 108th out of 120 qualifying cornerbacks last season.
Redskins cornerback Orlando Scandrick sat out Saturday’s practice with back spasms. He is considered day-to-day.
Fantasy Impact
Scandrick signed with the Redskins in March after spending the last ten seasons in Dallas. There are plenty of opportunities for playing time after the offseason departures of Bashaud Breeland and Kendall Fuller. Scandrick has been getting looks at both inside nickel and outside cornerback. In his absence, Quinton Dunbar took first-team reps outside while Fabian Moreau worked in the slot. Scandrick is expected back in the coming days.
