Olamide Zaccheaus
WR - Washington Commanders
Availability
Olamide Zaccheaus caught four of six targets for 25 yards in the Commanders' 40-7 dominant win over the Panthers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Zaccheus was tied for second on the team in receptions and third in yards, but it didn't amount to much fantasy-wise. He's best left on the waiver wire with Washington's passing attack running through Terry McLaurin and Zach Ertz.
Olamide Zaccheaus caught 1-of-3 targets for 10 yards in the Commanders 34-13 win over the Browns.
Fantasy Impact
Zaccheaus had a quiet day after recording six receptions in Week 4. Fantasy managers should comfortably leave the 27-year-old out of their lineups ahead of a matchup with Baltimore in Week 6.
Olamide Zaccheaus caught 6-of-6 targets for 85 yards in the Commanders 42-14 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
Zaccheaus posted season-highs across the board on Sunday. He remains off the fantasy radar despite his big performance Sunday.
Washington Commanders WR Olamide Zaccheaus received praise from head coach Dan Quinn for having a "really strong camp" as the team continues its search for its WR2 in 2024.
Fantasy Impact
When asked about the state of the team's WR2 hunt, Quinn first mentioned Zaccheaus and how he was "impressed" by the sixth-year WR from Virginia. He has played under Quinn before, as both overlapped in Atlanta from 2019-2020. Zaccheaus has had some moments of success in the NFL, though his best years in Atlanta (2021: 406 yards; 2022: 533 yards) came after Quinn was no longer with the Falcons. Zaccheaus has played as an outside WR for most of his career, the same role as WRs Jahan Dotson and Dyami Brown, with whom he is competing for snaps, though he also saw an increased share in the slot in 2023 with the Eagles, albeit to less success than in years past (2023: 10-164-2).
Olamide Zaccheaus is trending towards making the initial 53-man roster for the Commanders.
Fantasy Impact
Zaccheaus has been doing well at camp and is "seemingly battling for rotation reps more than a roster spot". It's unlikely that he secures a large workload for himself, however, so fantasy managers shouldn't get too excited for his outlook heading into the season.
