Milton Williams agrees to terms with Panthers

The Panthers agreed to terms with DT Milton Williams.

Fantasy Impact

The terms are unknown but Williams likely got paid going from the Eagles to Carolina. He recorded a career-high five sacks last season in a rotational role on a deep Eagles defensive line. He is likely to take on a bigger role on the Panthers defensive line.

Milton Williams selected No. 73 by Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have selected DT Milton Williams with the No. 73 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact

The Eagles will build the interior of their defensive line with explosive pass-rusher Milton Williams out of Louisiana Tech. Milton's measurables were insane at his pro-day, including a 4.62 40-yard dash and 6.87 three-cone drills to display his quickness. The 280-pound defensive tackle can line up alongside Fletcher Cox and inside of DE Brandon Graham, providing an immediate upgrade for the Eagles front-seven. Williams' past experience as a defensive end will translate well, with his ability to use his hands to shed blockers and bypass slower interior offensive linemen.
