Malik Willis
QB - Green Bay Packers
This Week Outlook
Availability
Malik Willis is off the injury report for Sunday's Wild Card game against the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Willis and Jordan Love are both off the injury report heading into Sunday. Willis will remain in his usual backup role behind Love.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Malik Willis was a full participant at practice on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan Love was also able to practice in full on Thursday. Willis should remain in his backup role in Sunday's Wild Card game against the Eagles.
Malik Willis completed 10-of-13 passing attempts for 136 yards in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Fantasy Impact
Willis had to step in at quarterback for the Packers when Jordan Love left the game with an injury. The 25-year old was okay overall in his limited action, but he lost a fumble that contributed to the team's loss. He is under contract for the Packers in 2025, so the current expectation seems to be that he will return to play the backup role once again.
Green Bay Packers QB Malik Willis threw a touchdown and completed four of his five passes for 56 yards while adding 23 rushing yards on four carries in a three-point win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
Willis entered in Jordan Love's stead as the team's starter was dealing with a groin injury that affected his mobility and ability to protect himself. The former Tennessee Titans QB entered early in the third quarter, and the Packers opted for a more run-heavy approach, much like they did amid Love's early-season absence due to a knee injury. Willis led three scoring drives (two TDs, one FG) in a 30-point day and can be a viable Superflex option if Love misses any time (QB20 and QB6 finishes in two starts).
Malik Willis completed 13-of-19 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown while adding 73 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Sunday's 30-14 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Impact
Willis got another start on Sunday in the continued absence of Jordan Love, and he had a strong game against his former team. He was solid through the air and limited mistakes, and he was dominant on the ground and ended up leading the team in rushing yards on just six carries. This may very well have been his last game as the starter for the foreseeable future, however, so fantasy managers shouldn't be looking to pick him up at this point.
