Luke Musgrave
TE - Green Bay Packers
Luke Musgrave caught just one pass for six yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Impact
Musgrave wasn't able to do much on Sunday. He caught just one pass in the win over the Colts, and he failed to do anything else to really make up for that. He still has some upside but remains nothing more than a flier from the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.
Luke Musgrave was unable to corral either of his two targets in a 34-29 loss to the Eagles in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
Many fantasy managers were expecting Musgrave to be the Packers' No. 1 tight end this season but Tucker Kraft easily outproduced him, catching two of three targets for 37 yards. Musgrave's usage was concerning as he ran way fewer routes and played significantly fewer snaps than Kraft. Managers who drafted Musgrave can safely send him to waivers this week.
Luke Musgrave has been quiet throughout training camp so far.
Fantasy Impact
The second-year tight end has reportedly not made much noise at Green Bay's training camp so far. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it was specifically noted by QB Jordan Love that he should be more involved in the game plan during the regular season. Still, it's less than ideal that Musgrave isn't making waves in the preseason, especially after a promising 2023 campaign.
Packers TE Luke Musgrave is officially active for a Week 18 matchup with the Bears.
Fantasy Impact
Musgrave will make his return to the field for the first time since suffering a lacerated kidney in Week 11. It is unknown how many snaps he will play, as the TE Tucker Kraft has played well in his absence.
Green Bay Packers TE Luke Musgrave (kidney) is listed as doubtful to play in Week 17 on Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy Impact
Musgrave has not played since Week 11, and he was showing promise before his absence. However, his return will be delayed for at least one more week despite being limited in practice all week. Tucker Kraft will continue to start at TE, and with the Packers pushing for the playoffs, this week's result could affect whether or not Musgrave suits up again this year.
