The rookie is dealing with a shoulder injury right now and was limited at Wednesday's practice as a result. He doesn't get much work even when healthy, so fantasy managers shouldn't put much weight into his status against Philadelphia.

McCaffrey continues to make the most out of his targets, as he has caught all 10 of his targets for 98 yards through the first five games of the season. The rookie will have to carve out a larger role to be fantasy relevant weekly, but that could happen as he continues to build a rapport with rookie QB Jayden Daniels.

McCaffrey turned in the most productive game of his young career, finishing second on the Commanders in receiving yards. He did most of his damage on a 30-yard reception in the first quarter, bringing the Commanders down to the Cincinnati two-yard line. With rookie Jayden Daniels looking impressive as a passer in the early going, McCaffrey is worth a stash in deep leagues heading into Week 4 against the Cardinals.

McCaffrey was not able to do much in his NFL debut on Sunday. He caught three passes, but that amounted to less than 20 yards in what turned out to be a big loss at the hands of the Buccaneers. He may find some fantasy relevance as he continues to improve later this season, but for now, he doesn't carry much in terms of fantasy value.
