Luke Farrell
TE - Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Luke Farrell caught 2-of-2 targets for 10 yards in Jaguars’ 23-7 win over the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
Farrell was active for the second time this season and has three receptions for 14 yards in two games. Fantasy managers can leave the 25-year-old on the waiver wire heading into Week 5.
Luke Farrell caught three of four targets for 43 yards in Jacksonville's 27-11 loss to Las Vegas in Thursday night's Hall of Fame Game.
Fantasy Impact
Farrell lead all receivers with a game-high 43 yards on three receptions, hauling in all but one of them. Farrell caught 34 balls for 380 yards and four touchdowns at The Ohio State University but figures to mainly be a blocking tight end early on. Jacksonville brought in Evan Engram in the offseason to be the main receiving tight end for Trevor Lawrence and Farrell is currently 4th on the depth chart but the former Buckeye could see more work in the passing game if he continues to produce. He could be a sleeper at an extremely top-heavy position like tight end, but not worth a draft and stash on Draft Day. He is worth keeping an eye on, in terms of his usage and targets, as the season progresses, especially if you don't draft a stud.
The Jaguars have selected tight end Luke Farrell with the No. 145 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Farrell is a 6-foot-6, 251-pound tight end out of Ohio State. He projects to be an in-line te, contributing mostly as a blocker in the run game. He never totaled more than 20 receptions in four seasons in college, but does possess a 77th percentile burst score and a 66th percentile agility score.
