Week 16 Outlook
Availability
The Chiefs released T Lucas Niang from their practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
Niang will look to land another opportunity with a different team.
Lucas Niang was getting reps as the starting left guard with the first-team offense at practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Niang is expected to compete for the starting role at left guard throughout training camp. He was next to Wanya Morris who is competing to be the starting left tackle.
The Kansas City Chiefs have selected offensive tackle Lucas Niang with the No. 96 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
The Chiefs go with depth in the trenches with the 96th pick in the Draft. The OT out of TCU projects as a starting RT in the NFL. Head Coach Andy Reid loves his big men up front, and Niang fits that mold at 6’6”, 315 lbs. He’s a great run-blocker but he’ll have to improve his skill set with blocking edge rushers in the NFL.
