K.J. Brent suffered a knee injury at Saturday's practice, Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Fantasy Impact
Keefer also said that looked like a nasty knee injury. That does not sound good and could be serious. Keep an eye on updates with Brent as the Colts release information.
K.J. Brent is listed as the No. 5 wide receiver on the Colts' first depth chart of the preseason, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Fantasy Impact
Brent, an undrafted free agent from Wake Forest, played five games with the Colts last season after spending a year on Oakland's practice squad. Brent will have to work hard to keep in front of rookie receiver Reece Fountain who was drafted in the fifth round. Things should work themselves out in the preseason with the Colt's wide receivers.
K.J. Brent caught three of his six targets for 54 yards in the Oakland Raiders' defeat to the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Impact
The undrafted rookie should not be taken at all, but with him being targeted six times it will be interesting to see if he makes the roster to give quarterback Derek Carr another offensive weapon. With Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree and Seth Roberts the three primary receivers Brent is battling for the fourth receiver spot at best.
