Kenneth Gainwell
RB - Philadelphia Eagles
Availability
Kenneth Gainwell has 11 carries for 73 yards and two catches for 15 yards over the last two weeks behind Saquon Barkley.
Fantasy Impact
While the Eagles are rightly favoring Saquon, Gainwell seems to be the top backup should anything happen to him. He can be flex-worthy in the right matchups, especially if it looks like Philly will get up big. He hasn't scored a touchdown all season, and that certainly caps his upside, but with a couple of easy games down the stretch, we could see more Gainwell in the future.
Kenneth Gainwell carried the ball five times for nine yards and gained one yard on his lone catch in a 28-23 win over the Jaguars in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact
Gainwell has gotten double-digit touches just once all season as he continues to fill the backup role behind Saquon Barkley. He remains a solid fantasy handcuff but should not be in starting lineups against the Cowboys in Week 10.
Kenneth Gainwell rushed 13 times for 56 yards in Sunday’s win against the Giants. He also had one catch that went for 11 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Gainwell’s 13 carries were by far his season high, likely due to the lopsided score. Gainwell is the RB2 by a wide margin in the Eagles’ offense and won’t be fantasy viable unless star Saquon Barkley misses time.
Kenneth Gainwell rushed three times for 23 yards in Sunday's win against the Browns.
Fantasy Impact
Even though Gainwell only had three carries, he made the most of the opportunities and had the longest rush of any Eagle in Sunday's game. Gainwell serves as a handcuff to Saquon Barkley but will not provide standalone value in fantasy.
Kenneth Gainwell did not see a carry, but caught 2-of-2 targets for 12 yards receiving in the Eagles 15-12 win over the Saints.
Fantasy Impact
Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts saw every carry on the day for the Eagles. Gainwell remains off the fantasy radar.
