Last season with the Indianapolis Colts, Turay posted a career-high 5.5 sacks. In 13 games as a reserve last year, the 2018 second-round pick added eight quarterback hits and a fumble recovery. The addition of Turay would bolster an already strong San Francisco pass rush that led the league in forced fumbles last season.

Turay is an edge rusher from Rutgers who is considered raw but who showed improvement during his time in college. After adding a linebacker earlier in the second round, the Colts now add some more talent to their defensive line as they look to improve what was one of the worst defenses in the league in 2017 and convert back to a 4-3 defensive front.
