Smith has been a non-factor to begin the season in the Atlanta offense, recording his first touch of the season Sunday. The running back will need a slew of injuries to hit the Atlanta backfield to see any sizeable change in volume moving forward.

According to his agent AJ Vaynerchuk, the Atlanta Falcons will be re-signing FB Keith Smith to a one-year deal.

Smith enters his 10th season in the NFL and fifth with Atlanta operating as the lead blocker for one of the best run offenses of 2022. Smith has just 41 touches in four years with the Falcons, but he provides a lot to the success of head coach Arthur Smith's offensive system.
