Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Keith Mumphery caught one pass on two targets for 11 yards in the Texans' Week 15 win over the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
It looked like Mumphery's stock would rise when Braxton Miller and Jaelen Strong went on the IR moving him into WR3 on the depth chart. But it has not helped and he has only seen four targets over the last two weeks. He is not worth owning in fantasy.
Keith Mumphery caught both of his targets for 16 yards against the Colts on Sunday. Mumphery has caught all four of his targets this season, but only has a catch in two games this season. He has four receptions for 28 yards this season.
Fantasy Impact
Mumphery is fantasy irrelevant and there is no reason for him to be on the fantasy radar. He had 14 receptions on 32 targets last season and has 157 yards receiving in his two NFL seasons. The Texans will play the Jaguars in Week 15 and Mumphery did not have a catch against the 6th-ranked defense against fantasy WR.
Keith Mumphery saw four targets in the Texans win against the Jaguars, catching two of those targets for only eight yards.
Fantasy Impact
Mumphery is not a recommended fantasy option even with an extended absence to one of the Texans starting wide receivers Nate Washington. Mumphery shared snaps with fellow rookie Jaelen Strong against the Jaguars.
Keith Mumphrey had the best game of his young career. He caught four passes for 56 yards. Due to injuries that Cecil Shorts and Nate Washington suffered, he is likely to start opposite DeAndre Hopkins in the Texans Week 5 battle vs. the Colts on Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact
Keith Mumphrey is likely not going to be on any fantasy radars but he could be a sneaky DFS play in Week 5. It is likely that Hopkins will be shadowed by Vontae Davis and/or double covered. This will leave soft coverage on Mumphrey (assuming Shorts and Washington do not play).
