Kamu Grugier-Hill

Former Eagles LB Kamu Grugier-Hill has agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Grugier-Hill was a three-year special teams captain in Philadelphia and a rotational piece on a solid defense. He’s a swiss-army knife type LB and will provide the Dolphins with versatility on defense and on special teams.

Kamu Grugier-Hill is still sidelined with the MCL sprain he suffered in early August.

Kamu Grugier-Hill was expected to man one of the starting outside linebacker roles for the Philadelphia Eagles but has yet to make his season debut. While the Eagles could use his talent on defense, he is not much of an IDP option. However, his continued absence increases the Eagles vulnerability in the middle of the field.

The position battle on the Eagles defense is open after the team released veteran linebacker Mychal Kendricks in the offseason. Grugier-Hill brings two years in defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz’s system to the competition. The Eagles also signed Corey Nelson away from Denver to compete at the position. This battle will be on to keep an eye on during training camp.
