Justin Tuggle

In Brian Cushing's absence, converted quarterback and former Kent State linebacker Justin Tuggle has moved from outside linebacker where he played in 2013, to inside linebacker where he is listed as the starter. Tuggle has received high praise from Head Coach Bill O’Brien, with O’Brien calling him “an instinctive player” who is “being well coached”.

Fantasy Impact

Tuggle definitely has the size (listed 6'2"/245lbs) and athleticism (over 6 ypc as a Juco quarterback) to be successful. He also brings an unique 'offensive' understanding to the defensive side of the ball. It will be intriguing to see Tuggle in action this preseason and he could develop into a sneaky IDP play even if Cushing doesn't miss time this season.
