Week 13 Outlook

The Eagles have opened the 21-day practice windows for S Justin Evans.
Fantasy Impact
Evans landed on injured reserve in early October with a knee injury. The 28-year-old safety began the season as a starter and could return and play meaningful snaps for the Eagles’ defense soon.
Tampa Bay safeties Justin Evans (toe, again) and Isaiah Johnson (concussion) exited in the win Sunday versus Carolina. They didn't return and managed about half the defensive snaps in this contest.
Fantasy Impact
As disappointing, the IDP owners had to be, this firmly puts rookie Jordan Whitehead and possibly Andrew Adams on the radar heading into Week 14.
Tampa Bay safety Justin Evans recorded a total of nine combined tackles in the loss Sunday to Washington.
Fantasy Impact
Overall Evans has been a productive IDP play for his fantasy owners this season. And with the state of the Tampa Bay secondary, there are no indications that will end going forward as the fantasy football playoffs are just around the corner in most standard leagues.
Tampa Bay safety Justin Evans found himself making multiple plays again as the team defense struggled overall in the loss versus Cincinnati. With a combination of Jamis Winston throwing interceptions and the first line of defense struggling to stop the run, Evens recorded six solos and two assisted tackles in this contest Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
At this point, IDP owners have to consider Evans on any given Sunday as the Tampa Bay defense is trying to work out its problems. This late in the season it is highly unlikely to happen and it will leave Evans as a strong IDP option no matter the matchup. Look for Evans to have similar production heading into Carolina next week.
Tampa Bay free safety Justin Evans led what looked like a revamped Buccaneer secondary with eight combined tackles over the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact
By "revamped" we should consider that with fellow safeties Isaiah Johnson and Jordan Whitehead also seeing expanded playing time throughout the contest in what looked like three safety sets, newly crowned defensive coordinator Mark Duffner may have revamped how the defensive backs will be used going forward. These formations were seemingly present even before middle linebacker Kwon Alexander (knee) reportedly may have torn his ACL near the end of the second quarter. It is worth monitoring going forward to make sure that it isn't a simple case of game plan versus Cleveland or the fact that Johnson wasn't simply the best option to cover the slot over a depleted cornerback group.
