The Dolphins have added depth to their secondary with the signing of Coleman on a one-year, $2.75M deal. Coleman, 27-years old, was released by the Lions earlier in the month. In the span of two years with Detriot he had 84 tackles, three forced fumbles, and an interception.

The Lions paid Coleman heavily for his services but he may need to temper expectations in free agency in order to land a starting role on a team with postseason potential.
