Julius Chestnut
RB - Tennessee Titans
Availability
Julius Chestnut (foot) was added to the injury report as a limited participant on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Chestnut was added to the injury report on Thursday due to a foot injury. He was a limited participant at practice, and it's unclear if this will have an impact on his availability for Week 10. If he's healthy and active, he could be in line for more work than usual with Tony Pollard (foot) in danger of missing Sunday's game.
Julius Chestnut rushed the ball five times for 22 yards in Sunday's 20-17 OT win over the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Impact
It looked like Chestnut might see more work than usual with Tyjae Spears (hamstring) out of the lineup again for the Titans, but that wasn't really the case. He saw just five touches over the course of the game, which is nothing in comparison to Tony Pollard's 31. Chestnut remains off of the fantasy radar for the time being.
Julius Chestnut carried the ball seven times for 32 yards in the Titans' 52-14 Week 8 loss to the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Chestnut has had little involvement out of the Tennessee backfield of late, finishing with less than 40 rushing yards in each of the last three games for the Titans. The running back's only value is as a complement to starter Tony Pollard while Tyjae Spears remains sidelined, with a Week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots ahead.
Julius Chestnut rushed for 15 yards on three carries in the Titans 34-10 loss to the Bills. He caught his lone target for 9 yards.
Fantasy Impact
Chestnut saw a small uptick in playing time due to the injury to Tyjae Spears. If Spears is able to return in Week 8, Chestnut will likely return to his role as the third running back on the roster.
Julius Chestnut carried the ball once for two yards in the Titans' 20-17 loss to the Colts in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact
Chestnut continues to see little involvement on offense for the Titans, recording just one touch in five games this season. The running back should remain on the waiver wire in all formats unless injuries hit the Tennessee backfield at some point.
