Juan Thornhill
S - Cleveland Browns
Week 13 Outlook
Availability
Juan Thornhill (calf) is being placed on Cleveland's injured reserve on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Thornhill is dealing with some kind of a calf injury that will force him to go on injured reserve. He's set to miss the next four weeks at the very least, and it's possible that his absence will extend beyond that. This is bad news for Cleveland's defense, who now has to replace their starting free safety for a good chunk of the season.
Juan Thornhill did not practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Thornhill was the lone new addition to the list of absences for the Browns in training camp. There should be an update on his status when available.
Browns DB Juan Thornhill is officially inactive for Week 1 against Cincinnati.
Fantasy Impact
Thornhill is dealing with a calf injury and will give way to Rodney McLeod as the starting free safety Sunday. Thornhill was able to get through his morning workout, but the Browns opted to give him more time to heal up, so he should be good to go for Week 2.
Juan Thornhill recorded three solo tackles, one assisted tackle, and pass defended, and took a Derek Carr interception 46 yards to the endzone in 40-9 a blowout win over the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Thornhill's second over interception was one to remember, as he jumped Oakland WR Tyrell Williams' route and scored his ever touchdown. The rookie had by far the most memorable play of his short career, but shouldn't be in consideration for your team when Kansas City plays New England in Week 14.
With the 63rd pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Virginia safety Juan Thornhill.
Fantasy Impact
With the Chiefs moving on from Eric Berry, Thornhill could step in right away and compete for a starting job.
