Week 11 Outlook
Availability
Josh Morgan had one catch for 13 yards on Sunday. He finished the season with 10 catches on 19 targets. He accumulated 70 yards and one touchdown.
Fantasy Impact
With the Bears looking to hire a new general manager and head coach in the offseason, Morgan will likely not be brought back. He did not show enough production to warrant another opportunity under a new regime. Josh Morgan will start next season with very little to no fantasy value.
Josh Morgan did not do enough to help his cause on Sunday. He caught two passes for two yards. The only positive is that he caught his only two targets.
Fantasy Impact
Josh Morgan will likely be out of a Bears uniform next season. His fantasy value is not worth a roster spot on any team.
Jay Cutler is out and Jimmy Clausen is the guy this week against the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
With Jimmy Clausen starting this week, one wide receiver on the Bears should be happy with the change. Josh Morgan, who has been irrelevant this season, should have a better connection with the second-string quarterback; the two have had more reps together. That being said, do not expect Morgan to explode this week. Detroit is a stingy defense and the Bears offense has struggled all season. With most leagues being in the final week of the season, look for a more consistent option. Morgan is nothing more than a WR5.
As we wait to hear more news about Brandon Marshall's rib injury, Josh Morgan looks to see more playing time going forward. Morgan caught one pass for eight yards on four targets.
Fantasy Impact
Josh Morgan did not show much potential or take advantage of his increased playing time against the Cowboys. He only caught one pass on four targets. With Brandon Marshall going down, Morgan should have an increase in fantasy value. However, with Marquess Wilson having more upside, Morgan does not deserve a roster spot at this time.
Josh Morgan was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and a full participant in practice on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Josh Morgan is the Bears' 4th WR and the 6th option when on the field. His snaps are very limited. Morgan has zero fantasy value at this point in the season.
