OLB Jordan Jenkins is returning to the Jets on a one-year, $5M deal.

Jenkins was the sacks leader for the Jets in 2019 with eight on the year. He’ll return to New York on a one-year deal and he’ll look to pick up right where he left off.

Jordan Jenkins believes his athleticism, specifically his jumping ability, will shine during the upcoming NFL combine. At 6-foot-3, 257-pound Jenkins is taller than most other listed OLBs in the draft.

Fantasy Impact

Jenkins is viewed as a hybrid pass rusher, shifting between DE in a 4-3 and a 3-4 OLB. While he has good size for an OLB, he's small for a DE. There's belief in his ability to attack the pocket, but if he remains listed as an OLB there's concern about his abilities in coverage. Jenkins enters the combined projected to go in the first three rounds of the upcoming NFL Draft.
