Akins' 42 yards served as a new season-high. However, he saw fewer targets than David Njoku, Cedric Tillman, Elijah Moore, and Jerry Jeudy. Akins would only become fantasy relevant in the event that Njoku was forced to miss time.

Akins looks to be a low-floor, low-ceiling play at tight end as long as David Njoku is out, and that may have to suffice for some fantasy managers with the tight end position being so unpredictable thus far in 2024.
