Jonathan Mingo
WR - Dallas Cowboys
Availability
Cowboys WR Jonathan Mingo is officially inactive for Week 10.
Fantasy Impact
Mingo was recently acquired from the Panthers in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick. He is likely still working to learn the offense and has a better chance of making his Cowboys debut next week.
Jonathan Mingo has been traded from the Carolina Panthers to the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact
The Panthers' 2023 second-round pick is on the move after his limited involvement in Carolina's offense. Mingo only amassed 55 catches for 539 yards in his year and a half in Carolina, and will look to make a fresh start in Dallas. With Dak Prescott likely heading to IR, Mingo will likely not be fantasy relevant. On the Panthers' side, rookie undrafted free agent Jalen Coker could see an increased snap share and role in the offense after flashing in Weeks 8 and 9.
Jonathan Mingo caught his lone target for a one-yard gain in a 38-20 loss to Atlanta in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact
Mingo was quiet in a game where the Panthers threw the ball 38 times. The sophomore receiver has been struggling to make an impact in 2024 with just 12 catches for 121 yards and no touchdowns through six games. He will not be a recommended fantasy option heading into Week 7 against the Commanders.
Jonathan Mingo caught three of five targets for 24 yards in the Panthers' 34-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Mingo had a decent day by his standards, but for fantasy purposes, three catches for 24 yards won't cut it. He's best left on waivers.
Jonathan Mingo caught two passes for 40 yards and had one carry for three yards in Sunday's 47-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Fantasy Impact
Carolina suffered a blowout loss at the hands of the Saints in Week 1, and that ultimately hindered Mingo from having a strong showing in the season opener. He ended up with a total of 43 yards on the day, which was good for the second-most on the team. He still has potential after being a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but it's unlikely that he finds much success on Carolina's dismal offense in 2024.
