Johnny Mundt
TE - Minnesota Vikings
Availability
Johnny Mundt caught four of his five targets for eight yards in the Vikings' 31-29 Week 7 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Mundt made the most of his increased touches on offense, recording more than two receptions for the first time in six games for the Vikings. The tight end will be relegated to more of a non-existent role with the return of T.J. Hockenson likely ahead of a Week 8 Thursday night matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
Johnny Mundt caught both of his targets for 31 yards in the Vikings 23-17 win over the Jets.
Fantasy Impact
Mundt continues to operate as the primary tight end for the Vikings with T.J. Hockenson still sidelined. Fantasy managers should continue to leave Mundt out of the lineup, especially considering Hockenson has a chance to return after the bye.
Johnny Mundt hauled in both of his targets for 15 yards in the Vikings' 31-29 win over the Packers.
Fantasy Impact
Mundt continues to see similar usage weekly as the Vikings' offense continues to await the return of T.J. Hockenson. Fantasy managers should fee comfortable leaving him out of the lineup in a tough matchup with the Jets in Week 5.
Johnny Mundt caught one pass for two yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Impact
Mundt wasn't very involved on Sunday, but he was able to get in the end zone on a two-yard reception for the Vikings. He won't be involved much when Jordan Addison (ankle) and T.J. Hockenson (knee) are back in the lineup for Minnesota, however, so he doesn't hold much long-term value.
The Vikings have agreed to a one-year, $2M deal with TE Johnny Mundt.
Fantasy Impact
The Vikings will retain their depth at tight end with the re-signing of Mundt. The 29-year-old tallied 172 yards and one touchdown on 17 receptions last season.
