John Crockett

Crockett had six carries for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Packers 20-12 win over the Raiders in preseason action Thursday. He also hauled in four receptions for 27 yards.

Fantasy Impact

Crockett scored from 10 yards out on the Packers opening drive of the second half showing good cutting ability and power as he tries to solidify himself as the third-string back behind Eddie Lacy and John Starks on the Packers' depth chart. He is unlikely to have fantasy value unless Lacy or Starks suffers an injury.

Green Bay Packers RB John Crockett is expected to compete with undrafted rookies Don Jackson and Brandon Burks for the No. 3 running back job in training camp.

Fantasy Impact

John Crockett is entering his second season in the NFL and with the Green Bay Packers. In two games in 2015, Crockett carried the ball nine times for 21 yards and was not much of a factor in Green Bay's offense. Crockett should be left off of the fantasy radar entering the 2016 season unless either James Starks or Eddie Lacy is sidelined for any reason.
