Week 13 Outlook
Availability
Chargers rookie WR Joe Reed was “unleashed” in practice Monday, including getting work as a running back.
Fantasy Impact
Head coach Anthony Lynn reiterated that they didn’t draft Reed in the fifth-round to just be a return man. They’re going to use his skill set all over the place, whether it be at receiver, running back, and as a returner. He was able to showcase his multiple talents at practice Monday, especially given the absence of Mike Williams, who recently suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder. Keep an eye on Reed as the regular season gets closer as he could become a prime sleeper candidate late in fantasy drafts.
The Los Angeles Chargers have selected wide receiver Joe Reed with the No. 151 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Reed will help out with special teams as he averaged 33 yards a return and took two touchdowns to the house. He also hauled in 77 catches for 679 yards on 116 targets for Virginia in 2019. Reed is on the dynasty radar, but he will be buried on the depth chart behind Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Andre Patton.
