Jerrell Freeman
LB -
Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Bears inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman has been placed on IR with a pectoral injury.
Fantasy Impact
The Bears expected solid production from Freeman who signed a three-year, $12 million contract last year. Nick Kwiatkoski should see the biggest uptick in playing time.
Jerrell Freeman finished Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons with 10 total tackles, seven of which were solo.
Fantasy Impact
Freeman is and has been the central piece for this Bears defense. Consider him a LB1 for IDP leagues.
Jerrell Freeman has been the most consistent performer on the Bears defense. He is constantly at the top of the tackles list and is hardly ever exposed. Unfortunately, his teammates are not as consistently good as the Bears lost in a bad way to Tampa Bay.
Fantasy Impact
Jerrell Freeman is a solid IDP option and if he is not owned I suggest grabbing him. He already has 81 combined tackles and 61 are solo. He is on pace for 108 solo tackles this season and a great asset to own in IDP leagues that reward heavy point totals for tackles.
Jerrell Freeman has been the most consistent player on the Bears' defense. He has proven to be a big signing and one of the cogs in a very young defense. He finished Thursday night's loss with 13 total tackles; 10 of them solo. He also had a QB hit.
Fantasy Impact
Freeman has been exceptional in IDP leagues and if he is not owned you should go grab him. Freeman should be owned in almost all IDP formats.
Jerrell Freeman was limited in practice on Wednesday while he's recovering from a wrist injury.
Fantasy Impact
Freeman should start on Thursday night against the Packers, but hopefully his injury will not hinder his performance. With both Lacy and Starks injured, Freeman could have an above average game going up against the recently acquired Kniles Davis.
