Jermaine Burton
WR - Cincinnati Bengals
Availability
Jermaine Burton caught one of his four targets for eight yards in a 34-27 loss to the Chargers in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact
Burton has caught exactly one pass in four separate games this season, giving him four receptions for 107 yards on the year. The good news is he is staying relatively involved in the offense, having drawn nine targets over his past two games. Burton will be on bye in Week 12 before a matchup with the Steelers in Week 13.
Jermaine Burton caught one pass for 11 yards in Thursday's 35-34 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie saw some solid involvement on Thursday after being a healthy scratch in Week 9. Still, he wasn't able to put up a good game. He caught just one out of his five targets and wasn't able to do much with it, leaving him with a low fantasy total on the night. We won't see much of him when Tee Higgins (quad) is back in the lineup, so fantasy managers shouldn't put much value on Burton for the foreseeable future.
Bengals WR Jermaine Burton (coaches decision) will be inactive for Sunday's game vs. the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
After seeing 41 percent of the snaps last week, Burton will not play at all in Week 9. It appears that HC Zac Taylor needs to see more from the rookie WR first before Burton sees significant snaps in-game.
Jermaine Burton caught one pass for 47 yards in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie didn't get many opportunites on Sunday, but he made the most of his two targets, hauling in one of them for a 47-yard gain. There are some character concerns that keep him off of the field in Cincinnati, but Burton has shown us several times that he has a lot of talent and could be a contributor if all of the off-field issues get figured out.
Bengals WR Jermaine Burton is officially active for Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
Burton was dealing with a toe injury but is healthy enough to suit up against the Patriots. With Tee Higgins out, Burton should see an increased number of snaps in the season opener.
