Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Veteran tight end Jerell Adams is expected to sign with the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
Adams was drafted out of South Carolina by the Giants in 2016 and has had a pretty quiet NFL career since, totaling just 24 receptions for 214 yards over three seasons. Mark Andrews will have a firm grasp on the receiving duties for tight ends in Baltimore and it's likely that Adams was brought in to help with the run game. The Ravens ran the ball more than any other team in the league last year while setting the NFL record with 3,296 yards. Fresh blockers will help them in 2020 as they hope to replicate last year's success.
Jerell Adams caught three passes on six targets for 17 yards and a touchdown as the Texans lost to the Packers in the preseason opener on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Adams is looking to make the Texans roster after spending some time in 2018 on the practice squad. Adams has 24 receptions for 214 yards and a touchdown in 29 career games and won't be fantasy relevant if the makes the team.
Jerell Adams caught four passes for 31 yards in a 23-0 loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
Jerell Adams on the season has eight catches for 92 yards. This was his best game of the season and could see targets next week if Evan Engram doesn't play in the season finale against the Redskins.
Jerell Adams caught one pass for six yards in a 12-9 win over the Chiefs in overtime.
Fantasy Impact
Jerell Adams on the season has four catches for 61 yards. He won't be much of a fantasy impact, but could see targets with the Giants thin at wide out.
Jerell Adams caught one pass for six yards in a 23-10 win over the Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Jerell Adams on the season has three catches for 55 yards. He probably won't have a fantasy impact this season as he is the backup tight end.
