The 27-year-old will look for an opportunity elsewhere after joining the Giants' practice squad last season. His last regular season action came in 2021 with the Buccaneers.

Buccaneers WR Jaydon Mickens has been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Saturday and has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact

Mickens did not travel with the team and there are rumors that RB Kenjon Barner could be activated as his replacement as a kick returner on special teams in Week 10. He can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Buccaneers WR Jaydon Mickens caught 5-of-8 targets for 36 yards in Monday night's Week 8 win over the Giants.

While Mickens led the team in targets (eight), he only managed 36 yards on five catches. Mickens had been sporadically used up to this point and I would say his Week 8 target share is more of an anomaly than anything else. With Antonio Brown likely playing in Week 9 against the Saints, Mickens will once again be the forgotten man.

With all the injuries in the Tampa receiver room, Mickens saw expanded playing time but only put up a 2/22/0 line on his pair of targets. He will be far off the fantasy radar in Week 6.
