Jay Feely disappoints when finally given an opportunity

Jay Feely finally had some field goal attempts last Sunday. He made three of four attempts; not anything spectacular enough for him to secure a job for another team. Robbie Gould will be back for the Bears next year and Feely will be the odd man out.

Fantasy Impact

Jay Feely will not have any fantasy value to start the season next year. He did not prove enough for another team to take a flyer on him. Feely will likely be sitting patiently waiting for a phone call from a team who loses a kicker next season due to injury.

Jay Feely still has yet to attempt a field goal

With Robbie Gould (quad) out with an injury, Jay Feely has started the last three games for the Chicago Bears. Feely has yet to attempt a field goal; not what he expected when signing with the Bears.

Fantasy Impact

Jay Feely has no fantasy value. He will not be in a Bears uniform next year. The worst part is that he has not been able to prove anything to other teams. In three games he has zero field goal attempts. This is not his fault. The Bears have attempted the least amount of field goals this season with only 12 attempts.

Jay Feely another quiet night filling in for Robbie Gould

Jay Feely did not have any FG opportunities against the Saints on Monday night. He made his only extra-point attempt.

Fantasy Impact

Jay Feely did not envision his opportunity to fill in for Robbie Gould this way. He has played in the last two games and has not had an opportunity to kick any field goals. Hopefully you are not using a Bears kicker this late in the season. Neither Feely or Gould have any fantasy value this year. Look to the waiver wire and free agency for better options if you have either kicker and are still alive in your fantasy league.

Jay Feely ready if Gould (quad) cannot play Monday

Jay Feely is still on the Bears roster as Robbie Gould is week-to-week with a right quadriceps injury.

Fantasy Impact

No matter which kicker plays, neither Jay Feely or Robbie Gould should be in your lineup during these crucial fantasy playoff weeks. Too many other kickers are available via free agency that have more upside than these two. The Bears are unraveling and you cannot trust their kicking game; they have the least amount of field goal attempts this season.

Jay Feely has a quiet night

Jay Feely had a quiet night against the Cowboys. He did not attempt any field goals and had a blocked extra point attempt.

Fantasy Impact

The Bears did not make use of their field goal kicker once again. The Bears are currently tied for last in the NFL in field goal attempts with only 12 attempts on the season. No matter if it is Jay Feely or Robbie Gould, neither kicker deserves a roster spot this season. If you picked up Feely as a spot start, look elsewhere in Week 15.
