Jaxon Smith-Njigba has career day Sunday

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 7-of-13 targets for 180 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks 26-20 loss against the Seahawks.

Fantasy Impact

Smith-Njigba posted by far the best performance of his young career. He was the clear No. 1 wide receiver with DK Metcalf sidelined and could have had an even bigger day if it weren't a few big catches getting called back. He'll remain a borderline low-end WR2/high-end WR3 moving forward even when Metcalf returns.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba catches six passes in loss

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught six of seven targets for 69 yards in the Seahawks’ 31-10 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Smith-Njigba led all Seattle receivers in targets, receptions, and yards on a day where they could get nothing going. The absence of DK Metcalf meant more targets for JSN, but it was not quite the day fantasy managers would have hoped for. It was solid, though, and he arguably had the best performance of any Seahawk on the day. He’ll look to keep up the good work next week against the Rams.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba quiet in Week 7

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught three of his six targets for nine yards in a 34-14 win over the Falcons in Week 7.

Fantasy Impact

Smith-Njigba was quiet as he finished behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in receiving in the lopsided win. That being said, the Seahawks went run-heavy in the second half as they were protecting a lead. Smith-Njigba has been hot-and-cold this season but he is still worth starting as a flex option heading into Week 8 against the Bills.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba catches five passes on Thursday

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught five of nine targets for 53 yards in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

It was not a bad night for Smith-Njigba, but fantasy managers will surely be hoping for more. The Seahawks spread the ball out on Thursday, so even though his nine targets were second on the team, it didn't amount to any large target share. He'll look to improve against Atlanta next week.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba finds the end zone Sunday

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 4-of-7 targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks 29-20 loss against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact

With Seattle down two scores and scrambling to score, Geno Smith found Smith-Njigba wide open in the end zone towards the end of the game. He tied DK Metcalf for the team-high in targets among wide receivers for Seattle. He'll remain a WR3 play on Thursday against the 49ers.
