James Hurst
OL -
Week 17 Outlook
Availability
Former Ravens OL James Hurst has agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, according to his agent, Jack Bechta.
Fantasy Impact
Undrafted out of North Carolina in 2014, Hurst has played six seasons in the NFL with the Ravens. He has played in 90 games, making 44 starts. Hurst will serve a four-game suspension for the use of PEDs to begin the 2020 season. He’ll provide depth at both the tackle and guard positions for a solid offensive line in New Orleans.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Ravens have re-signed offensive lineman James Hurst to a 4-year deal worth $17.5 million, with $8 million guaranteed.
Fantasy Impact
It's quite a large contract for a player of Hurst's talent level. He's been a decent pass-blocker for the Ravens, but has really struggled to open up holes in the ground game. If his contract does anything, it raises the value of all offensive lineman on the open market.
