Jalen Wydermyer
TE -
Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Rookie TE Jalen Wydermyer has agreed to sign with the Buffalo Bills as an UDFA.
Fantasy Impact
Wydermyer was considered one of the top tight end prospects in this year's class by many, and it was a surprise to see him go undrafted. The Bills capitalize on the value, signing him quickly after the draft ended. He will have the chance to compete for a roster spot and play a backup role in Buffalo this season.
Jalen Wydermyer worked out privately for the Colts, met individually with the Browns and Saints, and visited the Bills, Cowboys, Titans, and Commanders.
Fantasy Impact
The Texas A&M junior had a productive three-year career there and has a NextGen stats score of 75, but he had a poor pro-day performance. The former John Mackey Award finalist has good jump-ball skills but struggled with drops in college. Scouts believe he has the size and strength to become a better run blocker, but until then, he profiles more as an average backup or special teamer.
