The team will release Renfrow when the new league year begins. The veteran was set to count $13.7M against the cap, which was hard to justify considering two consecutive quiet seasons. The 28-year-old should have plenty of suitors in free agency.

Hunter Renfrow caught 3-of-5 targets for 46 yards in the Raiders’ 3-0 loss to the Vikings.

Renfrow recorded the longest play of the day for the Raiders on a 38-yard reception. The 27-year-old veteran has seen four or more targets in three straight games. Renfrow and the Raiders will look to turn it around against the Chargers in Week 15.

Renfrow continues to see his participation in the Raiders’ offense increase over the last few weeks. After hauling in five catches last week, his performance in Week 12 is a positive sign for fantasy managers. Renfrow and the Raiders will head to their bye week in Week 13.
