Hunter Long
TE - Los Angeles Rams
This Week Outlook
Availability
Hunter Long caught both of his targets for 17 yards in a 12-6 win over the 49ers in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
Long's 17 receiving yards were good enough for him to finish third among Rams pass catchers in the low-scoring win. The veteran tight end has just seven catches for 60 yards on the season and is not on the fantasy radar heading into Week 16 against the Jets.
Hunter Long failed to catch his only target in the Rams' 44-42 win over the Bills in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact
Long has seen minimal involvement in the Los Angeles offense, seeing one target or less in each of his last eight games. The tight end can remain off rosters in all formats ahead of a Week 15 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
Hunter Long caught one pass for five yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Long served as Colby Parkinson's backup and was mostly uninvolved in the offense. Long only has three catches on the season and is fantasy-irrelevant moving forward.
Hunter Long will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
The Rams acquired Long when they traded Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins, but he won't be able to make his debut with his new team on Sunday. He's been ruled out, and with Cooper Kupp (hamstring) also unavailable to play, the team will have to look to depth players like Brycen Hopkins and Tutu Atwell to get more work against the Seahawks.
Per Field Yates, the Rams have activated TE Hunter Long, one of the two pieces in the Jalen Ramsey trade, off the PUP list.
Fantasy Impact
Long was originally drafted by Miami in the third round in 2021, but the team never gave him a real opportunity behind Mike Gesicki. Long has only managed one career catch, but perhaps the Rams will give him a greater opportunity given the lack of firepower currently on their roster. Long is slated to be the Rams' TE 3 behind Tyler Higbee and Brycen Hopkins.
