Week 13 Outlook

A converted TE Greg Scruggs made the switch to the position from DE this off-season. Now, he's made the 53-man roster.
Fantasy Impact
Along with Zach Miller and Khari Lee, the Bears have three versatile TE's. This is an area that could look different come tomorrow or the end of the week. However, Scruggs did enough as a blocker and special teamer to stick around.
After getting smacked by a blindside a couple days ago, converted TE Greg Scruggs has been out for the Bears with a bruised lung.
Fantasy Impact
He was hospitalized on Friday after the hit. Scruggs is missing valuable time with the offense after making the move to TE from DE this off-season. The Bears are thin at the position and he still has a chance to make the roster, but he needs to get healthy quick.
Just signed last Wednesday after the Bears placed both WR Alshon Jeffery and NT Eddie Goldman on IR, DL Greg Scruggs had three tackles, a sack and a QB hit in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
For Scruggs, it was his first sack since the 2012 season, his rookie year. The former Seahawk showed that he has plenty of energy and could be re-signed at a rather cheap price if the Bears believe he's a fit. If not, he'll be somewhere next year no doubt.
