Week 9 Outlook
Availability
The Bills on Friday placed receiver Greg Salas (groin) on injured reserve. He won't be eligible to return for at least eight weeks.
Fantasy Impact
Robert Woods is the team's slot man in sets of three or more receivers. Walter Powell and Brandon Tate are currently the backups behind Woods and Marquise Goodwin, and keep an eye on Justin Hunter as well. For now, Woods is the only Buffalo wideout who should be on fantasy rosters.
Bills receiver Greg Salas (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Los Angeles, his third straight missed game.
Fantasy Impact
Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin will start, with Walter Powell, Brandon Tate and possibly Justin Hunter behind them. Woods, who has been moving inside in multi-receiver sets, is the only fantasy play among that group, as targets have been too spread out behind him.
Bills slot receiver Greg Salas (groin) isn't at practice Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
When healthy, Salas is a deep PPR supersleeper in an offense missing Sammy Watkins. Otherwise, look elsewhere around the league if you need one.
Bills slot receiver Greg Salas (groin) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Fantasy Impact
Salas has missed the Bills' past two games, and Walter Powell saw 41 and 43 snaps in those games, catching four passes for 22 yards last Sunday in New England. However, no receiver other than Robert Woods needs to be on a fantasy roster.
Bills receiver Greg Salas didn't finish practice Thursday because of an injured groin.
Fantasy Impact
This is relevant because of the uncertainty of Sammy Watkins playing Sunday against Arizona. If Watkins were to sit out, slot receiver Salas would likely pick up some targets and be a deep desperation PPR play. Let's see how he is Friday.
