2024 Outlook
Availability
Glenn Dorsey had a tackle and a sack as he returned from injury.
Fantasy Impact
Dorsey returned from injury after missing the first two weeks of the season. He's nothing more than a rotational run specialist and not worth it in fantasy leagues.
Glenn Dorsey was inactive for Monday Night Football as he returns from injury.
Fantasy Impact
Another year, the same story with perpetually injured Dorsey. The 49ers have beefed up the line and may not even need him anymore. If for some reason you still have Glenn Dorsey shares you can dump him at this point. Even when healthy he will only be a rotational player.
Glenn Dorsey, who missed the entire preseason with an ACL injury, is expected to be ready for week one.
Fantasy Impact
Dorsey is one of many things: a bust, frequently injured and actually somewhat useful when not hurt. He has played a full season just once out of the last five years (and missed all of 2014). He will likely take a seat to up-and-comer Mike Purcell, but will valuable depth along the 49ers' defensive line.
The 49ers put Glenn Dorsey on IR with an ACL tear, ending his 2015 season. A significant portion of his 2016 is in doubt, as well.
Fantasy Impact
Mostly a space-eater, this isn't a huge fantasy impact. In a corresponding move, the 49ers picked up Ray-Ray Armstrong off waivers. He won't be fantasy relevant, either.
After going down with a non-contact injury early in the game, the 49ers fear Glenn Dorsey has a torn ACL.
Fantasy Impact
Brutal. Dorsey missed all of 2014 with a biceps injury and it seems as though he'll be missing the remainder of this season. He'll be 31 next season.
