Eric Gray
RB - New York Giants
Availability
Eric Gray had one rush for two yards and one reception for seven yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Gray hasn't had consistent involvement in the Giants' offense all season and is the clear third option in the backfield. Gray won't be fantasy-relevant unless Devin Singletary misses more time, and even then, he would fall in the RB4/5 range.
Eric Gray carried the ball three times for 13 yards in a 17-7 loss to the Bengals in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact
Gray mixed in on a few carries to give starter Tyrone Tracy Jr. a break. Gray has been quiet in 2024, handling just 11 carries for 24 yards while adding four catches for 59 yards. He will not be a recommended fantasy option against the Eagles in Week 7.
Eric Gray ran for four yards on four carries in the Giants 29-20 win over the Seahawks. He also caught 3-of-4 targets for 50 yards receiving.
Fantasy Impact
Gray fumbled on the goal line in the opening drive that resulted in a touchdown for the Seahawks defense. Tyrone Tracy Jr. took over the lead role the rest of the afternoon. Gray will remain off the fantasy radar.
Giants RB Eric Gray rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns on four carries in the team’s win over the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Gray also led the team in receiving, catching all four of his targets for 46 yards. After early reports that Gray was working with the first team in training camp, this is a great sign for Gray and fantasy managers.
Eric Gray reportedly got "a lot of run" with the first-team offense at practice on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
The Giants signed Devin Singletary to seemingly be the starter this season, but it is no guarantee that he'll be the workhorse. Gray did not play much as a rookie, but he'll have the chance to play a bigger role this season in a wide open Giants backfield with the departure of Saquon Barkley.
