Easton Stick
QB - Los Angeles Chargers
This Week Outlook
Availability
Easton Stick completed 12-of-29 pass attempts for 187 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the 26-19 win over Dallas.
Fantasy Impact
Stick did not perform well, but did enough to secure the win in the preseason finale. The 28-year-old is the locked in QB2 behind Justin Herbert. With Herbert dealing with a foot injury, Stick could be needed in Week 1 if Herbert’s foot is not completely healed.
Easton Stick will be taking over as Los Angeles' QB1 for the foreseeable future.
Fantasy Impact
Justin Herbert was recently diagnosed with some kind of a foot injury that will force him to be sidelined for several weeks. While he's out, the Chargers are planning on slotting Easton Stick into the QB1 role. He played it for a little bit at the end of last season, but right now it's not looking like this substitution is going to last all the way to the start of the regular season.
The Chargers and QB Easton Stick have agreed to terms.
Fantasy Impact
The move will ensure the backup quarterback returns for the Chargers next season. The 28-year-old completed 63.8% of his passes for 1,129 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in five games last season.
Easton Stick completed 24 of his 38 passes for 220 yards while adding 31 yards on five carries in a 16-9 loss to the Broncos in Week 17.
Fantasy Impact
Stick failed to lead his team on any touchdown-scoring drives in the loss to the Broncos. The veteran signal-caller has now thrown three touchdowns in his four games this season, with all three of those TDs coming in the same game. He will be a QB3 in Week 18 against the Chiefs.
Easton Stick completed 23-of-33 passes for 215 yards and added 25 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Saturday's 24-22 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact
The Chargers came within a field goal of beating the Bills on Saturday, and a lot of that is thanks to the efforts of Stick. He kept the ball safe and didn't log a turnover on the night, and although it wasn't reflected in his fantasy total, he was able to help the offense move the ball. This offense remains one of the worst in the league, and Stick should not be considered as a possible option for the foreseeable future.
