Dontrell Hilliard
RB -
Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Dontrell Hilliard was carted off the field due to a neck injury during Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
Hilliard had to leave Sunday's game early after taking a spill and injuring his neck while attempting to cover a punt. The exact severity of the injury is still unknown, and he didn't log any fantasy-relevant stats before leaving the game. Fantasy managers should pay attention to his injury updates this week, and Julius Chestnut would be the next man up in the backfield for the Titans if Hilliard has to miss time.
Dontrell Hilliard rushed once for two rushing yards while also catching both of his targets for 14 receiving yards in the Titans' 35-10 Week 13 loss to the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Hilliard has failed to make much of an impact of late in the Titans backfield and the issue seems to have only gotten worse with Julius Chestnut figuring into the mix now as well. Hilliard is best left off rosters for the time being unless bellcow Derrick Henry suffers some sort of injury going forward.
Dontrell Hilliard turned in a quiet performance for the Titans Sunday, rushing two times for 16 rushing yards while also catching all three of his targets for just three receiving yards in a 20-16 Week 12 loss to the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact
Hilliard has yet to find much room as the change-of-pace option behind stud Derrick Henry this month, rushing for just 34 yards on seven carries while also recording six receptions for just 19 receiving yards and one touchdown over his last four games. The running back is not worth rostering as anything more than a Derrick Henry handcuff and should not be counted on to provide much in a tough Week 13 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dontrell Hilliard carried the ball once for four rushing yards while also catching his lone target for a 14-yard touchdown in the Titans' 27-17 Week 11 win over the Packers.
Fantasy Impact
Hilliard was the recipient of a 14-yard touchdown pass on the Titans opening drive of the game but was non-existent after that. The running back does not offer enough value to waste a roster spot on currently and would only see a beneficial increase if stud running back Derrick Henry were to get injured.
Dontrell Hilliard (groin) practiced in full on Friday and has been cleared to play in Week 10 against the Broncos.
Fantasy Impact
Hilliard was limited during practice on Wednesday, but he logged full sessions on Thursday and Friday. Thus, it comes as no surprise that he has been removed from the injury report heading into this weekend's contest. Not only is Hilliard a fringe RB4 in fantasy football, but he's also one of the more valuable handcuffs thanks to his role behind Derrick Henry.
