Domink Eberle converted two of four extra point attempts while also converting his lone field goal attempt for the Lions in a 48-45 Week 4 loss to the Seahawks.

Eberle was called upon with starting kicker Austin Seibert unable to go for the Lions in Week 4, and did not instill any confidence with his two missed extra point attempts. The journeyman will more than likely be jettisoned once Seibert is healthy enough to return for the Lions and their high-scoring offense.

The Packers have dealt with a lot of special teams issues this year, with one being the regression from starting kicker Mason Crosby. The team bringing in Eberle, who has only played in one NFL game, looks to be a move to bring in competition and gauge what they could get at kicker.
