Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Las Vegas Raiders OL Denzelle Good retired, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
Fantasy Impact
Good was a seventh-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Mars Hill. He played seven seasons in the NFL with the Raiders and the Indianapolis Colts, starting 43 games over that span. Good tore his ACL in Game 1 of the 2021 NFL season and had just been cleared for training camp, but he opted instead to retire at the age of 31. He was projected to start at guard for the Raiders, a tough blow for QB Derek Carr and the Vegas offense.
According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Denzelle Good was cleared to start practicing at training camp. Full-team practices for the Raiders started on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
The former seventh-round pick is slated to start at guard for the Raiders this season after only playing one game last season. Good tore his ACL in Week 1 of the season, ending his season prematurely. Before then, he had only missed one game in the previous two seasons. Good will be an important piece to what could be a very potent Las Vegas offense.
