A metrics crowd favorite who vanished during the preseason (3-37-0 for the 2017 preseason), his stock dropped to the point where he couldn't beat out Trevor Davis and Jeff Janis. Yancey's pre-draft profile and familiarity with the fantasy-friendly Packers offense make him monitorable in deep dynasty formats, but he's not going to be redraft relevant for 2017 and probably 2018 unless a cataclysmic spate of injuries hits the Packers WRs.

The Packers have signed WR DeAngelo Yancey, RB Aaron Jones, OL Kofi Amichia, RB Devante Mays, and WR Malachi Dupre.

Fantasy Impact

The Packers are set at receiver for the year, with Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, and Davante Adams being one of the better trios in the league, but Yancey and Dupre add some much-needed depth and youth. The two running backs, Jones and Mays, were taken to add depth to the position, as the Packers were not confident with most of their incumbents. Ty Montgomery is the starter, with those two likely backing him up, as Christine Michael and Don Jackson were both cut after the draft. Lastly, Amichia will be a backup on an offensive line that mostly has their starters set.
