Week 12 Outlook
Availability
De'Angelo Henderson has been released by the Vikings, Tim Twentyman reports.
Fantasy Impact
Henderson was part of the first wave of cuts Friday, and he'll try to find a new home elsewhere. Don't count on much in the fantasy department no matter where he ends up.
De’Angelo Henderson rushed 16 times for 59 yards and a TD, adding an eight-yard reception in the Vikings’ loss to the Bills in Thursday’s preseason finale.
Fantasy Impact
Henderson has logged just 11 touches in two seasons with the Broncos and Jets, and he’s hoping to land a spot on the Vikings’ roster. If he does, he’ll be buried on the depth chart with little hope of seeing any touches.
NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo reports that the New York Jets have signed former Denver Broncos running back De'Angelo Henderson to their practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
This is a good landing spot for Henderson, who has flashed some NFL ability but battled nagging injuries and Denver's depth chart. The Jets don't have a lot of established or proven running backs currently, so it wouldn't be a surprise at all to see Henderson get a shot at some point during the 2018 NFL season. He's a dynasty hold, for now.
The Denver Broncos have cut 2017 sixth-round running back De'Angelo Henderson. As a rookie, Henderson only played 20 snaps, turning nine touches into 49 yards of offense and a receiving touchdown. Denver will move forward with Royce Freeman, Devontae Booker, Phillip Lindsay and fullback Andy Janovich.
Fantasy Impact
Henderson is undersized but comes with plus athleticism. He'll likely be re-signed to another RB-needy team in short order. He's a hold in dynasty formats.
De'Angelo Henderson rushed 11 times for 53 yards and caught three passes for 17 yards in the Broncos' 21-10 preseason win over the Cardinals Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact
Henderson looked very good playing to save a roster spot against the Cardinals. He has limited fantasy value if he makes the team, as he will be behind Devontae Booker, Royce Freeman, and Phillip Lindsay on the depth chart.
